Contemporary African Database
The Contemporary African Database was a short-lived public information source to provide information on prominent people, organisations and current events underway throughout Africa. The project was based at the Africa Centre London and funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. The project started in July 2001 and was abandoned by the trustees of the Africa Centre in September 2006.
The link to the homepage functioned until about April 2008. Since then, only an archive version of the site can be accessed (see references).
