Convallaria is a genus of flowering plants, the most prevalent species of which is lily of the valley.
It is usually described as the monotypic genus with the single species Convallaria majalis, but now some botanists distinguish up to 3 species of Convallaria, also including Convallaria keiskei and Convallaria montana.[1]
