The Sandpaper saucer-berry, or Snot berry, (Cordia monoica), is a species of flowering tree in the borage family, Boraginaceae, that is native to India, Sri Lanka and in African countries from Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, Zimbabwe down to South Africa.[2]
