Craig Von Wielligh

Craig Von Wielligh (born 18 March 1987), is currently the PSL Conditioning Trainer for Ajax Cape Town Football Club in South Africa.

Biography

After matriculating from Bergvliet High School in 2004, he went on to receive a National Diploma in Coaching Science at ETA (Exercise Teachers Academy), as well as attending local and international conditioning courses such as XLR8 (NZ), Athletes' Performance (USA) and F-Marc FIFA 11+.

At the beginning of the 2007/2008 season, he was employed as the Youth and PSL Fitness Trainer under then Head Coach, Craig Rosslee. During his time at the club he has been a part of their successes, such as "Telkom Cup Winners 2009"; "Telkom Cup Runners Up 2010"; "Manguang Cup Winners 2008 and 2009"; "Absa Premiership Runners Up 2007/2008 and 2010/2011" and "MTN Runners Up 2009".

At the end of the 2010/2011 Season, he was awarded the CEO's prize of the "Urban Warrior Award". He is currently working with Ajax Cape Town in his 4th season, under Head Coach Foppe de Haan.
