Release

"Crawling Back to You", along with "Renegade", were made available for a free listen on the band's official website on September 19, 2011. It was later made available on iTunes on October 4.[4]

Music video

The music video premiered on October 26 and was directed by Laurent Briet.[5]

Sales

"Crawling Back to You" debuted at #41 on the US Billboard Hot 100, with sales of 47,000.[6] It was the biggest debut of the week as well as Daughtry's third highest debut, just behind No Surprise and What About Now. In 2013, it was pushed back to the fourth biggest debut for Daughtry as their newest single Waiting for Superman debuted with 77,400 digital downloads, knocking What About Now into third place.

The song debut on Canadian Hot 100 at #36.

The song debuted on Japan Hot 100 at #24, marking the first time Daughtry has appeared on the chart. Daughtry was the highest charting international artist of the week.[7]
