Creative Nation is a music publishing and management company owned by Luke and Beth Laird. The company is home to music songwriters and producers, including Luke Laird, Barry Dean, Native Run, Maggie Chapman, Steve Moakler, Lori McKenna, and Natalie Hemby.[1] Since its inception, Creative Nation has had over 60 released songs, 22 of which have been radio singles, and 8 of which have reached #1 on the charts. The company has partnerships with Universal Music Publishing Group[2] and Pulse Recording.[3] Creative Nation is based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Luke and Beth Laird

Luke Laird has 19 #1 singles and has written for some of music's biggest artists including: Tim McGraw, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Hunter Hayes, Ne-Yo, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Kenny Chesney, Little Big Town, John Legend, and many others.[4] Laird received a Grammy as a producer on Kacey Musgraves’ debut record, Same Trailer Different Park.[5] Luke is also a producer on Kacey Musgraves' sophomore album Pageant Material.[6]

Beth Laird is a music publishing executive with work experience at BMG Music Publishing, Windswept Music Publishing and most recently in writer/publisher relations at BMI.[7] In 2011, she was named one of Billboard Magazine's "30 Under 30 Power Players to Watch"[8] and in 2013, she was honored as one of Music Row's Rising Women on the Row.[9]
