Crescent Hotels & Resorts was started in 2001 under the name Crescent Hospitality. In September 2006, the name officially changed to Crescent Hotels & Resorts. In 2009, Crescent Hotels & Resorts launched the Crescent Hotels & Resorts Canada division.[1] Today, Crescent is a nationally recognized, top-10 independent third-party operator of hotels and resorts headquartered in Fairfax, VA, located just outside Washington, DC. Crescent currently operates over 80 hotels and resorts, with close to 19,000 rooms in 29 states and Canada.[2] Crescent is one of a small group of independent management companies approved to operate hotels under the Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, Hyatt and InterContinental flags.
