The Cricket Association for the Blind (CABI) is the apex body that organizes and conducts cricket for the blind across India. CABI was handed the responsibility of promoting and organizing cricket for the blind by the previous body, Association for Cricket for the Blind in India – ACBI, in 2010. Registered in 2011 as a non-profit organization, CABI is affiliated to the World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC). CABI has been promoting blind cricket both as a rightful pursuit and as a platform for the physical and social development of the visually impaired. Unlike its counterparts in Pakistan, England or South Africa, CABI does not receive any kind of patronage from the mainstream cricket body, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The game has been surviving for the last two decades mainly with support from public sector organizations, corporate houses and occasional funding from central and state government bodies.

CABI is the sporting wing of Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, a Bengaluru based NGO.
