Cross.tv is a Christian social networking website, similar to facebook and myspace.[2] It was founded by Andreas Kisslinger and Stefan Jager in 2008/2009 under the parent company Cross:media group.[3] Cross.tv's values and moral standards provide a family-friendly online network featuring various media sharing functionalities. The site provides users with facilities to upload and share pictures, audios, and videos; and is currently available in over 30 languages.
Users can also write blogs and create forums in this multi-lingual supportive website. By 2011, the site had roughly 450,000 members. In 2010 the Web Marketing Association WebAwards recognized it with the award For Outstanding Achievement in Web Development.[4]
Conception
Cross.tv is founded on the belief that today’s communication technologies are a gift from God to his children in order to enable them to fulfill the Great Commission in this generation.[5]
