Crosscountry (series)

Crosscountry is an educational simulation software series of programs for children ages 9–13 (grade four through grade eight). The Crosscountry Series includes Crosscountry Canada, Crosscountry USA, Crosscountry Canada 2 Crosscountry USA 2, Crosscountry BC, and Crosscountry Photo Safari and is published by Ingenuity Works, a Vancouver-based company.

The game was released in 1991.[1] MyAbandonHardware deemed it "One of the best edutainment titles ever made".[2]

Educational Software Reviews deemed it "the type of game you can play for a full hour without getting tired."[3]

Players drive an 18-wheeler truck picking up and delivering commodities across Canada while learning about provinces, cities, territories and more. Making wise decisions along the way will result in a successful trip. It features different large cities throughout Canada, and is an on-rails driving game.

The game was released in 2002.[4]

Crosscountry Photo Safari

The game is "much like Cross Country USA 2 but with a focus on animals rather than commodities".[5]
