Wake's hidden salamander (Cryptotriton wakei) is a species of salamander in the family Plethodontidae. It is found in the Sierra del Merendón range in Guatemala and possibly Honduras.[3] Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
