Cyclophiops is a genus of colubrid snakes (subfamily Colubrinae) commonly called green snakes. They are found in South, Southeast and East Asia, from Assam to the Ryukyu Islands; two species are endemic to the Ryukyu Islands.[1]
Species
There are six recognized species:[1]
- Cyclophiops doriae Boulenger, 1888 — Doria's green snake
- Cyclophiops hamptoni (Boulenger, 1900) — Hampton's green snake
- Cyclophiops herminae (Boettger, 1895) — Sakishima green snake
- Cyclophiops major (Günther, 1858) — Greater green snake
- Cyclophiops multicinctus (Roux, 1907) — Many-banded green snake, North China green snake
- Cyclophiops semicarinatus (Hallowell, 1861) — Ryukyu green snake
