Cyril Patrick Mahon

A Mahon signed Bank of England £5 note of 1926.

Cyril Patrick Mahon was the Chief Cashier of the Bank of England from 1925 to 1929. Mahon was replaced as Chief Cashier by Basil G. Catterns.[1]
