DFW North Station is a proposed DART light rail station to be located on Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport property in Grapevine, Texas.
DART plans to extend the Orange Line line to DFW Airport in two phases. Phase I, currently complete and in operation, runs from Belt Line Station directly to DFW Airport Station, located at the airport's Terminal A. Phase II is planned as a branch line running north from Belt Line Station to DFW North Station before turning south toward the airport and terminating at DFW Airport Station. The station is intended to be a transit hub offering light rail riders a connection to the planned DART Cotton Belt line.[1]
DART does not plan to build the Phase II branch, which includes the proposed DFW North Station, until commuter rail service on the Cotton Belt line is implemented.[2]
