Kilian Albert Merz,[4] (KAM) better known as DJKAM, is a Swiss electronic dance music (EDM) producer, DJ and artist (http://kamart.ch) from Zürich, Switzerland. He had successful releases in Western Europe, particularly Switzerland and Germany.

Career

He is currently signed to LoudDJs Records (Miami).[1] He released earlier tracks on PLASMAPOOL /GER)[2] and EML Recordings (UK).[3] After living for over two years in Sao Paulo, Brazil, DJKAM returned to Zürich, Switzerland in 2015. His latest LoudDJs projects with other artists include two tracks "Drift Away" and "Everything" House released in 2014[1] with former Coco Star. He released "Better Without You" House, RnB in 2015[1] with Oklahoma artist and singer IESHIA.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s he had chart successes with tracks like "The Phonecall"[4] and "Backfield in Motion"[5] in Western Europe, particularly Switzerland and Germany. He signed with Phonogram Records GmbH (Mercury Records)[6][7] in Germany as co-founder, member and co-producer of the Pop band "Kiss in the Dark (K.I.D.)".[8][9] Most of K.I.D.'s music was recorded and produced at Sigma Sound Studios[10] in New York, working with engineer/producer and Grammy Awards nominee/winner Tony Maserati.[11]
