DJ /rupture is the pseudonym of Jace Clayton, a New York-based American DJ and writer. He used to play in the drum and bass collective Toneburst, and DJ'ed in Boston during the late 1990s.

In addition to his music, /rupture is becoming a voice on the blog scene with musical and non-musical posts on his website, "Mudd Up!".

Between June 6, 2007 and February 27, 2013, DJ /rupture hosted a 1-hour weekly radio program "Mudd Up!" on WFMU.[1]

Clayton received a 2012 Foundation for Contemporary Arts Grants to Artists Award.[2] Clayton was a resident at Eyebeam.[3][4]
