Sodamola Oluseye Desmond is a multiple award winning DJ from Nigeria. He is popularly known as DJ SPINALL a.k.a TheCAP. He is the first Nigerian DJ to be endorsed by any brand in Africa[1] and the first African DJ to tour in the United States.[2] He grew up in Lagos State and DJ SPINALL is also the first African DJ to perform at the SXSW Festival in the United States.[3]

Early life

DJ Spinall started calling himself Spinall in 2003 before he was signed to Mavin Records in 2013 which he is no longer under.[4] Spinall just as the name implies signifies a disc jockey who plays all kinds of genre of music, he is not restricted to any specific genre, his style of play has been tagged by many as ‘fearless’ as a result of his ability to bring all kinds of music in one playlist, these differentiated him out from the lots and won him several awards.[5]
