History

DNA Productions was founded in 1987. The company's original mascot was Helix The Cat, a purple cat. However, after producing the Jimmy Neutron feature film for Nickelodeon, John A. Davis was about to go to Japan for a vacation. Shortly before leaving, he decided to change the company's mascot. The staff eventually settled on a three-eyed monkey. By the time John came back, they had the logo ready. John loved what they came up with and the company made several more logos before Jimmy Neutron ended.
