History

In 1973 H. Douglas Riley started up Lancer Label, a manufacturer and provider of custom labels used in sales and marketing, in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1989 Riley would go on to sell Lancer which was generating $15 million in sales with over 2,000 orders per week and purchase Impressive Labels in Safford, Arizona. In 1992 Impressive launched SuperFast Label Service and began expanding their horizons by developing solutions for telecommunications, hand held electronics, software and entertainment. By 2002 the company had expanded globally and DRG Technologies was formed. Impressive Labels and SuperFast became business units for DRG.[1]

Lancer Labels is also a company in the UK, by the name of Lancer Labels Ltd. Based in Basingstoke, Hampshire and supplies most types of labels, label printers, barcode scanners, barcode software, visitor management systems and help for anyone starting off in labeling their products.
