DZSR (918 AM), broadcasting as Sports Radio 918, is an AM station owned and operated by Philippine Broadcasting Service in the Philippines. The programming and the format of the station is Sports. the station's studio is located at 4th Floor, Media Center, Visayas Avenue, Barangay Vasra, Diliman, Quezon City, and the transmitter is located at Malolos City, Bulacan. DZSR operates daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m (Mondays To Sundays), except Holy Week of each year where it signs-off at 10:00 p.m. of Holy Wednesday and lasts until 6:00 a.m. of Easter Sunday.

DZSR was formerly known as DPI Radyo 2 during martial law.

On February 1, 2010, it changed its callsign to DWSY (wherein the "SY" means Sports & Youth), as they expanded their programming from sports-related shows to youth-oriented programs. The youth programs of DWSY named "Youth Service" usually air on Saturdays. At the end of 2010, DWSY has changed back to DZSR.

Programming

DZSR is a radio network that focuses primarily on sports programs and coverages. This is the only sports radio station in Southeast Asia. The station is dubbed as "Institution in Philippine Sports Broadcast." and/or "Your one and only Sports Connection--the home of Philippine National Athletes."

It also covers the Palarong Pambansa, Southeast Asian Games, the Asian Games, and the Olympic Games on a limited basis such as reporting and covering important events. It is the former home-broadcaster of Radyo PBA, covering the Philippine Basketball Association, before Radyo5 (TV5) took over the radio rights. DZSR Sports Radio 918 kHz. is one among 32 Network stations of the PBS-BBS throughout the country, with DZRB-Radyo ng Bayan 738 kHz. in Metro Manila as its 'flagship' station. .

DZSR Sports Radio boasts of a variety of programs with originally designed formats that exclusively cater to respective sets of sports enthusiasts, notably "Sports and Science" every Monday from 3:15 to 5 p.m., "Chess On-Air," Fridays, 11:00-12:00 nn—a program which features 'live' and actual on-air chess-duel between listeners 'by phone' utilizing a system called 'chess notation.' These, outside of other programs which focus on particular sports, i.e. 'Hoop-Talk,'Boksing-sport Lang,' 'The Scene Around,' 'Sports Chat,' 'Football Connection,' 'Cycle Lane,' 'MMA Fight News Hour,' and programs which share the latest local and international sports news and issues like the 'Sports News Roundup', 'POC-PSC Forum' 'Paralympic Hour,' Isport-Isyu-Balita,' 'Philippine Sports Writers' Association Forum,','NSA Corner' and 'Radyo Magasin,'

Among its featured programs are: 'Dream Date,' every Monday, 8:30-10:00 p.m., 'Saturday Mid-Evening with the Beatles,' ,' 6:00-10:00 p.m. which features not only the songs of the British pop group but also the stories behind the songs, 'Saturday Jam,' 'Sunday Elvis Presley Special, a 'feel-good' program, 'Celebrating Life' every Sunday, from 6:00-8:00 a.m.followed by another early Sunday toast-- 'Sunday Sports Spotlight'
