Dael Jonathan Fry (born 30 August 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Middlesbrough.

Club career

Middlesbrough

Having joined Middlesbrough at the age of nine and progressed through their academy,[2] Fry made his professional debut on 9 August 2015 - the opening day of the 2015–16 Football League Championship season - playing from the start of a 0–0 draw against Preston North End.[3] On 14 September 2015, Fry signed a new five year contract with Middlesbrough.[5] Fry captained Middlesbrough U19 in the 2015-16 UEFA Youth League.[6]

International career

Fry has represented England at under-17 under-18 and under-19 levels. He was a member of the England under-17 squad that won the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.[4]
