Dagsnytt Atten ("Day's news eighteen") is the daily news magazine from Norwegian radio station NRK P2. Every Monday through Friday, at 18:03, the most important people of Norwegian political and social discussion are summoned to analyze and debate the main topics of the day. Dagsnytt Atten is broadcast by the radio station NRK P2 and NRK Alltid nyheter, and the programs are also carried on television on NRK2. Dagsnytt Atten is a radio program, however, in 2007 television cameras were installed which show the host and in-studio guests as well as activities in the control room. When call-in guests are on, a photograph of the person is usually displayed for the television audience.
Lasting one hour, Dagsnytt 18 is part of the Dagsnytt news room's magazine department. The program was launched in 1990 as Atten Tretti ("Eighteen Thirty", or "6:30 PM") and changed its name to Dagsnytt Atten in 1992.
