Dahiya (India)

Dahiya is a Rajput[1] and Jat clan[2] in India.

History

Traditionally, the Rajput Dahiyas claimed descent from the mythological sage Dadhichi, and Dahiya may be an Apabhransha form of "Dadhya" (derived from Dadhichi).[1]
