Daitō (大東市 Daitō-shi) is a city located in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The city was founded on April 1, 1956.
As of January 1, 2010, the city has an estimated population of 125,361 and a population density of 6,860 persons per km². The total area is 18.27 km².
