Dalandanan is one of the highly developed barangays in Valenzuela, Metro Manila, Philippines. The namesake of Brgy. Dalandanan came from the impressive line of dalandan trees that used to distinguish the area.
Dalandanan houses the new Valenzuela City Astrodome, Valenzuela Emergency Hospital and Dialysis Center, and Valenzuela City Science High School.
It boasts of different business industries like publishing and printing (JO-ES Publishing House, Inc., Mega-Jesta Prints, Inc.]]), banking and finance (Bank of the Philippine Islands, BDO, Bank of Commerce, and Eastwest Bank), retail (Puregold Valenzuela, Wilcon Depot), pyrotechnic (Victory Fireworks), and biotech and pharmaceuticals (Scheele Laboratories).
The barangay celebrates four fiestas, depending on which area you lived. Catholics near the border of Esteban celebrate the feast of San Roque every May, those in San Simon celebrate the feast of San Pedro in June, Belando residents observe the fiesta of the Sto. Nino in January and those who lived near A. Marcelo hold the feast of the Black Nazarene every January.
The Iglesia ni Cristo Locale of Malinta chapel is also located along Km. 15, MacArthur Highway.
Education
The barangay have 3 public educational facilities for elementary, and high school.
