Life and career
Born in Udine, Di Lazzaro started as a fashion model and as the subject of famous photographers such as Andy Warhol, then she gained attention in the tabloid press as a supposed relative of Sophia Loren and even a potential rival in love.[1]
Between the mid-1970s and the early 1980s Di Lazzaro worked in notable films with directors such as Alberto Lattuada, Luigi Comencini, Florestano Vancini, Alberto Sordi, Dario Argento, Klaus Kinski and Jacques Deray, then focused primarily on television.[1] In 1983 she refused the role of Domino, later played by Kim Basinger, in Never Say Never Again.[2]
Her last role in a movie was in 2013 in L'Ultima ruota del carro, directed by Giovanni Veronesi.
