Dan Nicolae Nistor (born 6 May 1988) is a Romanian footballer who plays for Pandurii Târgu Jiu as a central midfielder.

Career

Nistor made his debut as senior for Internațional Curtea de Argeș as a midfielder in 2008. He played the 2009–10 season in Liga II for Dacia Mioveni. In 2010, Nistor signed a 4-year contract with the Liga I club, Pandurii Târgu Jiu. In 2011–12 season, Pandurii finished the championship on seventh place, and Nistor started to be remarked. The 2012–13 season was the best for Nistor in Liga I. Pandurii finished the championship on second place and became the vice-champions of Romania.

In 2013, he made its debut in Europa League for Pandurii, playing in the both legs against Levadia Tallinn (second qualification round) and Hapoel Tel Aviv (third qualification round). He didn't play in the Pandurs campaign against SC Braga in the play-off because he left the team.

Evian

In August 2013, Nistor signed a contract with French Ligue 1 club Evian for 800k.[1][2] He played 6 league matches for the Evian during the first half of the 2013–14 season and was loaned to his former team Pandurii on 22 January 2014.[3]

International career

In November 2012, Nistor was called up for the first time for the Romanian national team in order to play against Belgium in a friendly which Romania won 2–1.
