Dan O'Callaghan (born 28 December 1987) is a professional poker player, coach, and writer from Hartlepool, England, United Kingdom.

Operating under the pseudonym 'danshreddies',[1] he made his first mark on the poker scene in 2015 after becoming the first player to reach back-to-back final tables in PKR.com's annual live event, 'PKR Live'.[2] Finishing as a runner up to Grosvenor Pro, Jeff Kimber in 2014, Dan won the event a year later, besting fellow PKR player Wolfgang Wurzer heads up in May 2015; he was signed as a PKR brand ambassador shortly afterwards.[3]

Formerly a writer and coach at 180Vita's PokerVIP.com, he now writes a monthly column in Poker Player and runs a poker channel at Twitch.tv/.

Dan has one World Series of Poker cash, a 284th-place finish in the $1,500 'Monster Stack' in 2015 for $6,019.[4]

As of 2015, his combined live and online tournament winnings exceed $265,000.[4]
