Dan Pryor (born 14 April 1988) is a New Zealand rugby union player who currently plays as a loose forward for Northland in the ITM Cup[1][2][3] and the Highlanders in Super Rugby.[4][5]
Career
Pryor has spent his entire senior rugby career playing for Northland Taniwha. He debuted during the 2010 ITM Cup and immediately became a regular starter for his province.[2] An injury crisis for the Blues during the 2012 Super Rugby season saw him get his first experience of rugby at that level.[6] He made his Super Rugby debut against the Rebels in April 2012, however that was to be his only Blues appearance and he wasn't named in their squad for either the 2013 or 2014 seasons. Some impressive displays as one of the senior members of a young and inexperienced Taniwha side during 2014 prompted the Highlanders to offer him a contract for 2015 and gave him a chance to re-establish himself at a higher level.[5]
