Dan Schoen (born December 7, 1974) is a Minnesota politician and member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he represents District 54A in the southeast-central Twin Cities metropolitan area.

Education

Schoen graduated from MACCRAY High School in 1993.[1] He attended St. John's University in Collegeville and St. Cloud Technical College and graduated from the Paramedic Program. He attended Ridgewater College in Willmar, Minnesota, graduating with an A.A. in law enforcement.[2]

Minnesota House of Representatives

Schoen was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2012. Committee Assignments: Public Safety Policy and Finance, Health and Human Services Policy, Commerce and Consumer Protection and Taxes

Personal life

Schoen has two children and resides in St. Paul Park, Minnesota. He is a police officer and paramedic.[2]
