Daniel (Dan) Goodfellow (born 19 October 1996) is a British diver from Cambridge. He represented Great Britain at the 2013 World Aquatics Championships, classifying 28th in the 10 m platform event.[1] He also competed in the 2013 European Diving Championships, where he ranked 10th in the same event.

Dan Goodfellow rose to prominence in 2013 after winning gold from the 10 meter platform at the European Junior Diving Championships[2] and a bronze medal at the British Diving Championship.

In the build-up to the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, and on the brink of a debut at a major global event, Dan suffered an elbow injury, which sidelined him from participating in the competition in Glasgow. Soon thereafter, Dan had a nerve injury in his shoulder, for which he had surgery on Christmas eve, 2014.

Dan made a tentative return to action in 3 m board competition in Italy in the summer of 2015, but that was the tail-end of the season, so he had to wait until the British National Cup in January, 2016 to again compete in 10 m diving. He participated in the individual 10 m competition, and received the bronze medal, and in the 10 m sychro competition with Tom Daley, the 2012 London Olympics individual 10 m bronze medalist. Dan and Tom won the 10 m synchro gold medal.

Dan commented on synchro diving with Tom Daley. "The synchro is very natural and we get on very well. Tom has been there and done it all really, so it's nice to have someone like him as he knows when to warm-up, when to train and what routines to do before we get on the boards. And it's a reassurance that he is confident as well." Tom Daley praised Dan's come-back and performance. "Dan has come back from injury a lot stronger and he has been able to step up to the big dives with ease. Hopefully we can continue to work hard together and elevate our scores to qualify for the Olympic Games.”

Dan Goodfellow and Tom Daley earned Great Britain a spot in the 10 meter platform synchro competition at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro by winning the bronze medal at the FINA Diving World Cup on February 21, 2016. They produced the single best synchro 10 m diving score, achieving it with a forward four-and-a-half somersault, with a difficulty of 3.7, which was awarded 91.02 points.

Building on their success at Rio de Janeiro, Dan Goodfellow and Tom Daley won medals at each of the 2016 FINA World Series 10 m sychro events - Beijing (bronze), Dubai (silver), Windsor (silver), Kazan (bronze) - and won the overall silver medal. Dan and Tom were the first Britons to win medals in all the 10 m sychro FINA World Series events in one year.
