Daniel Kahn & The Painted Bird

Daniel Kahn & The Painted Bird is a klezmer band founded by the US singer from Detroit, songwriter and actor Daniel Kahn. The band was founded in 2005 and is based in Berlin. In the past years there were four releases at Berlin world music label Oriente Musik.
Their music is described as "a mixture of Klezmer, radical Yiddish song, political cabaret and punk folk".[1]
