Daniel Santos Silva or simply Daniel Lovinho (born January 9, 1989 in São Paulo), is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward. He currently plays for Kyoto Sanga F.C..
Career
Daniel arrived at Palmeiras in 2004, aged 15. Played in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, where he excelled and moved up to first team, scoring 14 goals in 2008.
Fan of Robinho, Daniel has the same manager's ace, Wagner Ribeiro. He was nicknamed "Lovinho" by similarity with the striker Vagner Love. Upon reaching the core team has asked for "losing" the nickname.
He made his debut victory of his team against the Santo André by the Campeonato Paulista in 2009, On January 21, 2009, to replace Diego Souza. His first game as a starter was against Coritiba, also in 2009.
In 2010, due to transfer of the right-back Vítor to Palmeiras, Goiás was loaned to within one year.
The team of Goiás returned him to Palmeiras for an unknown reason, then he went out on loan again to Ponte Preta for one year. On September 28, 2010, Daniel Lovinho made his first career goal, closing the scoring in a tie with Ponte Preta 2-2 Coritiba.
