Danish Sports Name of the Year

Sports Name of the Year of Denmark (Danish: Årets Sportsnavn) is an award given to the best Danish sportsperson or team of the given year by the National Olympic Committee and Sports Confederation of Denmark and daily newspaper Jyllands-Posten. It was first awarded in 1991. The winner gets 50,000 Danish kroner.
