Dante Jardón (born December 20, 1988, in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer and the former WBC Youth World Super Featherweight Champion.[1]

Early life

Before becoming a boxer, Jardón was a member of Club Universidad Nacional's Fuerzas Basicas.[2]

Professional career

His first loss came by first round T.K.O. to Tomas Ramírez, He would win the Rematch by 3rd round T.K.O.[3] After his win over Colombian Orlen Padilla, Dante was assaulted at gunpoint and shot in his left arm. He made his comeback by stopping in just two rounds the number one rated Colombian José Palma.[4]

On March 26, 2010 Jardón beat veteran Fighter David Rodela by 3rd round T.K.O.[5][6]

On December 10, 2011 Jardón suffered an upsetting 3rd round KO defeat to Kyohei Tamakoshi,[7] in what was supposed to be an stay-active fight.

He is facing Adrian Estrella in July 5.
