The Dante Monument is a memorial in Little Italy, Montreal.
Overview
The monument to Dante Alighieri, by Carlo Balboni (1860-1947), was unveiled on October 22, 1922 in the Parc Lafontaine. It was a gift of Montreal's Italian community. The monument was moved to Dante Park in Little Italy in 1964.[1]
