Darren Robert Yap (born 23 August 1967) [1] is an Australian actor and director.[2]
Early life
Yap was born in Sydney and grew up in the suburb of Cabramatta. He was the third child of a Malaysian-born Sydney medical practitioner and his fourth-generation Australia-born Chinese wife. Yap was educated at Newington College (1980–85) [1] He is a graduate of the NIDA Director’s Course and UWS Theatre Nepean.[3]
