Darussalam Publishers is an Islamic publishing house established in 1986 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by Abdul Malik Mujahid. It is headquartered in Riyadh and has branches in countries around the world including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Pakistan, USA, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India and South Africa.

In the United States the company spells its name Dar-us-Salam Publications and is based in Houston, Texas.[1]

History

On March 30, 2012, Darussalam Publications published the first volume of an eleven-volume series entitled Encyclopedia of Seerah.[2]

On April 19, 2013, Darussalam received a commemorative plaque from Saudi Gazette in an event organized by the Saudi Gazette in Riyadh in honor of its advertisers.[3]

Publications

Darussalam published several books by Ali al-Sallabi,[4] a Libyan Islamist who distributed weapons, money and aid to Islamist groups in Libya during and after that country's civil war.[5]
