This name uses Spanish naming customs: the first or paternal family name is Atapuma and the second or maternal family name is Hurtado.
Jhon Darwin Atapuma Hurtado (born 15 January 1988) is a Colombian cyclist who rides for the BMC Racing Team professional cycling team.[1]
After two seasons with Colombia,[2] Atapuma left the team at the end of the 2013 season and joined the BMC Racing Team for 2014.[1] In 2015, he finished 16th of the Giro d'Italia. He was named in the start list for the 2015 Vuelta a España.[3]
