Daryl Arnold
Daryl Arnold was the 8th United States Ambassador to Singapore. He served from 1987 to 1989.[1][2]
Career
Arnold was also the former president of the Western Growers Association.[3]
Death
In December of 1997, Arnold, who was 73 years old at the time, and his wife Shirley were headed to Palm Springs, California to celebrate her 73rd birthday. On the way, their Cadillac veered off the highway and crashed unto a signpost killing both of them. Arnold and his wife had been married for 51 years and together they lived in Corona del Mar, California.[3]
