Dasht-e Leili

Dasht-e Leili (English: Leili Desert; Persian: دشت لیلی) is a desert in the Jowzjan Province[1] of Afghanistan.

It is known for being the site of the Dasht-i-Leili massacre, in the city of Shebergan, during the 2001 U.S. invasion of Afghanistan.
