Blas Minor
Blas Minor Jr. (March 20, 1966 in Merced, California), is a retired Major League Baseball pitcher who played from 1992–1997. He would play for the Houston Astros, New York Mets, Seattle Mariners, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
Minor is now a captain with the Chandler, Arizona Fire Department, and volunteers as a pitching coach at Hamilton High School.[1]
Minor's nephews, Jake and Daulton Jefferies, are baseball players. Jake played in Minor League Baseball for the Miami Marlins' organization and Daulton is a pitcher for the California Golden Bears.[2][3][4]
