Dave Bassett is a Grammy nominated American songwriter and record producer with many charting singles and 4 ASCAP Pop awards. In 2016 Bassett was nominated for a Grammy for co-writing Elle King's 2X platinum hit "Ex's & Oh's" which he also produced. The song reached #1 on 3 radio formats. In 2015 Bassett co-wrote the 3X platinum hit "Fight Song" with Rachel Platten[1] which reached #1 on the iTunes charts and #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. In addition, Bassett co-wrote the grammy winning song Love Bites with Halestorm. Bassett is also known for writing hit songs for Fitz and the Tantrums, Walk Off The Earth, Shinedown, Pop Evil, Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, and Daughtry.

He has also written songs for many soundtracks and TV shows as well as major network promos and international advertising campaigns.
