David Lee Hengel (born December 18, 1961) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder for the Seattle Mariners(1986-1988) and Cleveland Indians (1989) born in Oakland, California.
Hengel attended the University of California and was drafted by the Mariners in the 3rd round of the 1983 Major League Baseball Draft. He made his major league debut on September 3, 1986, and appeared in his final game on June 27, 1989. He played his final professional season in 1995 with the Kansas City Royals.
