David Lewis Marshall (born January 14, 1943, at Artesia, California) is a retired American professional baseball player, an outfielder who appeared in Major League Baseball for the San Francisco Giants, New York Mets and the San Diego Padres.[1]
Marshall appeared in 490 games played during his Major League career. He played in 110 games for the 1969 Giants and 100 contests for the 1971 Mets, but batted only .232 and .238 respectively. His 258 hits included 41 doubles, four triples and 16 home runs.
