Dave Murphy (born April 16, 1952) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey player. He was selected by the Atlanta Flames in the 8th round (114th overall) of the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft.
Born in 1952 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Murphy began his professional career in 1972 with the Omaha Knights of the Central Hockey League. He played four seasons in the professional minor leagues before joining the Sioux City Musketeers to play senior ice hockey in the United States Hockey League before hanging up his skates following the 1978–79 season.
