Davey Beauchamp

David (Davey) Beauchamp is a librarian,[1] author,.[2]

His personal appearance schedule regularly includes several science fiction conventions such as DragonCon, ConCarolinas and MobiCon where he speaks on panels, teaches in workshops for aspiring authors, and sometimes records audio-dramas written by himself or others while performing them before a live audience.

Writers Relief Anthologies

Beauchamp is the editor for the book Writers for Relief: An anthology to benefit the survivors of Katrina. All proceeds from the book went to the American Red Cross to help victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita.[3] Many bestselling as well as Hugo and/or Nebula award-winning SF&F authors contributed previously published short stories for reprint to this anthology including: Larry Niven, Brian W. Aldiss, Nancy Kress, Joe Haldeman, as well as the longtime editor of Asimovs Science Fiction magazine, Gardner Dozois.

A second volume to Writers for Relief was released by Dragon Moon Press to help raise money for the Bay Area Food Bank.[4]

Amazing Pulp Adventures Starring Mister Adventure

Beauchamp is the creator and writer of the ongoing podcast audio series Amazing Pulp Adventures, Starring Mister Adventure. A campy, comedy/drama reminiscent of early superhero comic books, performed in the style of 1940's radio plays. In 2006 this series was nominated for a Parsec Award in the category "Best Audio Drama-Long Form".[5] The series is produced by Rich Sigfrit with a full cast of voice actors and is released in podcast format. In 2007, Beauchamp also self-published the script as a scriptbook of the same name.[6]

Agency 32

Beauchamp is the author (as "David Beauchamp") of Agency 32: The Chelten Affair, published by R&R Endeavors Inc.[2]
