David Alegre

David Alegre Biosca (born September 6, 1984 in Barcelona, Catalonia) is a field hockey midfielder from Spain. He finished in fourth position with the Men's National Team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, and in sixth at the 2012 Summer Olympics.[1] However, in between he was part of the 2008 Summer Olympics team which won a silver medal.[1] He plays club hockey for RC Polo in Barcelona. He represents the Uttar Pradesh Wizards in the Hockey India League . His older brother Ramón is also a field hockey international for Spain.[1]

He is currently sponsored by Ritual Hockey.[2]
