David Devadas is a well-known Indian author, journalist, commentator and documentary film-maker. An expert on Kashmir conflict, he is the author of In Search of a Future: The story of Kashmir, a critically acclaimed book on Kashmir dispute. He is a journalist with three decades of experience. He has reported for India Today, Indian Express, Gulf News, The Hindustan Times and The Economic Times. His last full-time job was as Political Editor of Business Standard. He was a Visiting Professor at Jamia Millia Islamia University in 2005 and a Senior Fellow at the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (2009–11). He has edited Kashmir's largest English daily and has developed courses, oriented teachers and students, and taken care of students' welfare at Islamic University of Science and Technology at Awantipora, Kashmir.[1][2]
