David Edwardes Davies

In this name, the family name is Edwardes Davies, not Davies.

David Edwardes Davies was the Anglican Bishop of Bangor from 1944 to 1949.[1][2]

Edwardes Davies was educated at Durham University and ordained in 1905, beginning his ordained ministry with curacies at Oswestry and Wrexham.[3] He then held incumbencies at Brymbo, Mold, Rhyl and Swansea before his ordination to the episcopate. He died on 15 May 1950.[4]
